Ms. Gabriella Giegerich

Gabriella Giegerich was born and raised in New Jersey before moving to the DMV five years ago. She began taking dance classes at the age of three upon the recommendation of her pediatrician due to low muscle tone. That is where her love of dance began. Gabriella studied ballet, tap, jazz, musical theatre dance and modern at Today's Dance Center where she joined their company at age 13. During her time on the company, she also trained at Princeton Ballet, Rock West, and Cooper River Ballet during the summers. During her time at TDC she also began teaching the studio's youngest dancers. She continued to study dance in college at The Catholic University of America where she graduated with her bachelor's degree in Musical Theatre and a minor in Arts Administration. Gabriella has had the privilege of dancing professionally in theatres from the East Coast to the mountains of Wyoming. Currently, Gabriella is the Development Coordinator/Board Liaison at Imagination Stage in Bethesda. She enjoys performing, choreographing and teaching in her spare time and is looking forward to another great year with La Zooz.
