In 2013, upon moving to Silver Spring from Eretz Yisrael, Michelle Penn saw the need for a dance school catering to the needs and sensitivities of the Jewish Community.  From humble beginnings, the program has become a staple in the growing Silver Spring community, servicing the artistic and creative needs for over 500 girls and women in the community since 2015.

After closing for the pandemic, we began again in the Winter of 2022 , ready to re-engage our community through expanded offerings over many disciplines.  Our mission at La Zooz Dance is to provide students of all levels with more than just skills and technique but a full experience, engaging the mind and body and soul of each student in a positive, healthy and fun atmosphere, developing them as people as well as artists.
