Ms. Adina Cortell

Adina started dancing when she was 5 years old, in the first ever La Zooz dance class in 2015 with Mrs. Penn. She learned ballet and jazz, but then settled on ballet in 5th grade. When she was in 7th grade she started taking pre-pointe classes, so she could dance en pointe. She started taking contemporary ballet in addition to traditional. She was one of the first La Zooz students to start dancing en pointe, in 8th grade. In 9th grade, she joined the La Zooz faculty as an assistant in Jazz class in hopes of  becoming a dance teacher for La Zooz. Now, in her 11th year of dancing, she is thrilled to have the opportunity to pass on her love of ballet to younger students as she works as a Teacher-in-Training this season.
