Ms. Miriam Albert

Miriam began dancing at age eight, and she hasn't stopped moving since! Throughout her grade school years, she trained in ballet, modern, and gymnastics with the staff at Bas Melech Performing Arts Studio in Baltimore, MD. From 2017-2026, she coached ballet, gymnastics, and parkour basics classes at Bas Melech for a wide range of ages, from tots to teens. In 2022, she worked as the dance instructor for Tizmoret Shoshana, a summer camp for performing and visual arts.

Miriam has also enjoyed her performance and choreography opportunities over the years, from seven years of the Baltimore MOVE competition to dancing roles in Stardom Talent's 2025 production of Mary Poppins to a solo piece at the 2026 Elevate dance conference

Miriam relocated from Baltimore to Silver Spring in January of 2026 to complete her Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering at University of Maryland, College Park. She loves the warm community here in Kemp Mill, and she is thrilled to join the La Zooz staff this year and connect with local students through dance.
